Reflective Practice in Ministry

This section of the Manual focuses on reflective practice as a disciplined approach to Christian ministry. Reflective practice involves intentional examination of one’s beliefs, actions, decisions, and responsibilities in light of Scripture, doctrine, ethics, and ministerial accountability.

This section addresses issues of legitimacy, boundaries, credentials, authority, and self-assessment in ministry. It is designed to help ministers evaluate their practice responsibly, correct errors, and grow in faithfulness, humility, and effectiveness over time.

What You Will Find Here

  • Applied reflection on ministerial identity, authority, and responsibility
  • Ethical evaluation of ministry practices and decisions
  • Clarification of legitimacy, credentials, and accountability in ministry
  • Guidance for correcting unhealthy or unsound ministry patterns

Use this section as a space for thoughtful, Scripture-informed reflection that strengthens integrity, discernment, and long-term faithfulness in Christian ministry.
